Western Coop Hotel & Residence Dongdaemun - Seoul

The first thing that impressed me was the value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the amenities that were included. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, with three comfortable beds and a convenient kitchen area. The free wifi was a great bonus and made it easy for me to stay connected. Additionally, the hotel's location was excellent. It was right next to the Dongdaemun Shopping area and pretty near to the Myeongdong market, making it a perfect base for shopping enthusiasts like myself.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great and there's nothing much that could be improved.

Conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to get around. Great spot for a quick city getaway, with lots to see and do around here. 🚌

it was a simple service apartment that could fulfill our basic needs

I really loved the hotel's location. It was within walking distance of a subway station and the bus stop for the airport transportation. Plus, there were shopping malls nearby that stayed open until morning. Another great thing was that it was away from the noisy touristy areas.

Nothing I didn't like, to be fair.

The location was OK but otherwise the hotel was very poor - I cannot think of nything else good to say about it!

Poorly equiped, unfriendly/unhelpful staff, poorly designed room and not very clean. The hob had been disconnected and so there was a one ring plug-in electric "hob" with the only available plug next to the sink! Poorly fitted furniture with open screws sticking out and not very clean. The fridge freezer compartment was open meaning everything anywhere in the fridge was frozen and quite a bit had to be thrown away. A large part of the room was made over to 2 cheaply fitted desks leavng a small space for the bed area and en0suite both of which were very small. Very little equipment e.g. 2 mugs and no glasses, one saucepan and one spoon. The fittness area is just a couple of tired treadmills in a spare bedroom. Do not expect anything more than very basic accommodation - very porr value for money.

It was right next to the Dongdaemun Shopping area and pretty near to Myeongdong market where you can go shopping like crazy. The hotel itself was exactly as shown in the pictures, with a double bed and 2 single beds in the suite room. The staff were helpful and professional, and the basic amenities provided were satisfactory. The breakfast offered was also a nice touch.

All was just fine, nothing to complain about.

Location is convenient - walking distance to MRT (3 to 5 minutes) and Dongdaemon Market, staff are friendly and able to communicate in English, Airport shuttle situated right in front of the hotel.

Convenient - Airport limousine stop right infront of hotel. Subway station about 8 mins walk via an underground pass. Dondaemoon shopping malls, money changer and many eateries are within 10 mins walk. 24-hrs family mart located just next to hotels.

Internet reception in the room is not very good

I recently stayed at a hotel in Dongdaemun and I was actually surprised by my experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it easy to explore the city. The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the basic amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the heated floor, made the bed extra cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had no trouble communicating with them in English. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. the location was absolutely perfect, right next to the Dongdaemun shopping area. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the nearby malls and indulge in some shopping. Secondly, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a small kitchen inside. This was a great feature as it allowed me to prepare some meals during my stay. Lastly, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The basic amenities provided, such as free wifi, were an added bonus. this hotel provided excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

There was nothing that I found lacking during my stay.

Spacious rooms with kitchen and microwave. Coin-operated laundry and hot/cold water dispensers. Convenient location with airport bus and train nearby. Friendly staff, clean rooms. a good choice for affordable accommodation with basic necessities.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, as it is right in the heart of the bustling Dongdaemun shopping precinct. You can shop to your heart’s content in the nearby malls and even visit the famous Myeongdong market, which is pretty near. The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable. They were always ready to assist us, whether it was giving us directions or recommending local restaurants. The rooms at this hotel were exactly as shown in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of our room. It even had a small kitchen inside, which was a great bonus.
